Review by polish team:
Saturday
At 11:00 on Saturday we met together at the
airport in Katowice and started the departure
procedure.
We flew to Warsaw at 1:00 pm and then to
Hamburg at 4:00 pm.
After collecting our luggage, together with Mrs.
Anja, we went to Schwerin to our Hosts. It was
late so we just talked to our families and went to
sleep.
Sunday
On Sunday we got up early in the morning to
take the train to Berlin. After arrival, we visited
the “Futurium” museum, which was full of
exhibitions on modern technologies. Then we
got onto the boat and sailed a bit on the Spree
River, admiring the landmarks of
Berlin. At the end we ate a meal in a burger
place and spent a nice time there. In the
evening we returned to Schwerin.
Monday
On Monday, at the school in Schwerin, we
watched a presentation about the countries
participating in the project.
In the afternoon, in the city center we met with the
mayor of Schwerin. After the meeting we had
free time to explore the city. Then we went back
to school, where excerpts from J.R.R. Tolkien’s
The Hobbit were played.
After the day, a barbecue was arranged. It was
a lot of fun integrating with others.
Tuesday
On Tuesday we visited the backstage of a huge
theater in Schwerin. Then it was time for more
presentations at school. This time about
literature.
In the evening we went together to a restaurant
in the center.
Wednesday
We met at 9:15 at the train station to go together
to the beautiful, seaside city of Rostock.
We saw the lighthouses and the Walemunde
beach there.
Then we went to the city center to see the local
museum and to walk around the shops. At 18:08
we had the return train. After returning from
Rostock, we went to the center of Schwerin with
a group of students who showed us where
everything was.
Thursday
On Thursday at 7:30 am, group work was
planned on iPads using literary materials
previously prepared by us. In the first exercise
we had to make a cover related to the summary.
And then a comic book related to the summary.
After handing in our works, we received
certificates and gifts for participating in the
Erasmus project. After the ceremony, we went
to lunch with our hosts and then on a joint tour of
Shwerin together with people from other
countries.
Friday
Friday… Unfortunately, it was time to say goodbye,
we didn’t use that day at all. After a sleepless
night, we went to the train station where at 2:30
a taxi took us to
Hamburg. We arrived at the airport at 3:30 in the
morning and caught a flight to Poland at
6:30.
